I’m not in the habit of writing reviews but my wife and I had such a pleasant experience having our roof replaced from the spring hail storms that we wanted to spread the word. The Lon Smith crew installed our roof in one day. What was just as impressive to us was the cleanup and followup. Lon Smith inspectors followed up twice to make sure the job was completed and adhered to their quality standards. Lon Smiths Philip Stanford recommended installing impact resistant shingles, which we did, and will withstand damage from future hail storms and lower our insurance premiums. Philip even met and went up on the roof with the insurance adjuster for the initial inspection. We are recommending Lon Smith to all of our neighbors. Bill and Lissa Smith

The team at Lon Smith Roofing was incredibly professional and responsive from the initial sales process through the roof installation completion. Shannon, the person that did the estimate explained the pros and cons of the different classes of shingles what the replacement included beyond just the shingles. She also walked me though what to expect during the installation. I chose to go with the Class 4 shingles, given the nature of weather in North Texas and the shingles ratings on wind and hail. Andrew, the crew lead walked me though the installation process and kept me up to date on the status once the team started. The roofers arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They also cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. There was no mess left behind, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Lon Smith.

After a recent storm we contacted Lon Smith Roofing to assess roof damage. Mike McCoy from the company confirmed storm damage and assisted us in filing an insurance claim. The insurance company and agent were less than helpful. Mike McCoy helped us navigate the very complicated insurance process and after 2 denials we were approved. My advice to anyone with roof damage is to contact a reputable Roofing company to guide you through the process. Without the tireless assistance of Lon Smith Roofing and Mike McCoy we would not have a new roof and gutters today. Kudos to the roof and gutter crew. Their work was excellent and the after work cleanup meticulous.

Over all they did a good job except for a few boo boos. We had a leak which was do to the wrong vent being installed over our garage.They did come out and change it. We have a dryer vent that continually stopped up do to the wrong vent being installed on roof . Wanted to charge us $400 for their mistake. The problem is there is no way to clean the vent out without taking the duct work out from inside the attic and trying to clean the vent out from the bottom side. You would have to be there to understand the frustration with the process. Even sent pictures of the original vent vs. what they installed. It's sad that such an easy fix can give you a different opinion of a company. Granted this roof was replaced in 2015 due to hail and again in 2016 due to tornado but the frustration has just built up over the years.
