My father was a high school teacher and growing up, he reroofed houses in the summer to make extra money for our family. Then, when I was a young adult, I ran my own small roofing company for a handful of years to pay off college debt. So, when our home along with many others in our area, got hailed on so began to search for the best company to replace our roof. I immediately threw out all of the national storm chasing companies because we wanted local accountability with a warranty we could believe in. The two companies it boiled down to was Baer Brothers Roofing and Red Diamond Roofing. Both had glowing reviews and excellent representation by project managers. We found out a lot of roofing companies hang their hat on getting the job done quickly but as the saying goes; ‘anything worthwhile takes time and anything that takes time is worthwhile’. We ended up going with Red Diamond Roofing with Mathew Wright and couldn’t be more pleased. The time and care they took to make our project perfect is something difficult to find in the Colorado construction market. My wife and I are relatively meticulous and were hard pressed to find any scraps of materials after their cleanup. I am more than happy to recommend them to any friends and family. I've worked with many roofing contractors personally and professionally over the years, and Red Diamond Roofing and the team working with Project Manager, Mathew Wright, has provided some of the most professional, high quality work I've seen. They truly embody the values of integrity, responsibility and craftsmanship. Mathew and his oustanding team take great pride in their work, and deserve the highest accolades. Mathew and his team has replaced the the roof on my primary residence in South Park Hill as well as that of a rental property we own in North Park Hill. Our historic property in South Park Hill included the primary house roof, as well as our 920 square foot carriage house roof. The North PH house is also historic but a single story bungalow. Despite the presence of older, prexisting damage to the roofing, Mathew was able to negotiate with our claims agent for a comprehensive and thorough roof repair for all three roofs. Mathew walked with the adjuster and showed him all the roof damage (both the old and new). He was able to skillfully bolster the argument for approval of a total roof replacement, and he also advocated for other necessary upgrades, including new decking, a high quality synthetic underlayment, and importantly, the Class 4 Impact Resistant Shingles, at no additional cost. The main roof on the South PH property had complex framing with hips, valleys, and dormers, as well numerous penetrations, and multiple chimneys. These required exact and intricate cuts to align everything properly. The total roof tear-off and replacement exposed a number of hidden issues with framing, decking, and water damage. All existing issues were addressed and repaired with attention to current codes and skilled craftmanship as mentioned. Mathew facilitated all the communications between the insurance company and ourselves, and coordinated the entire process on site to make the project both positive and seamless.
