Rox Roofing replaced the roof on our home and water tank shed December 2025 that had hail damage from a recent storm. They were recommended to us by a neighbor who had a very positive experience with their service. We also had a wonderful encounter with Rocky and his company as highlighted below: • Extremely prompt in scheduling and showing up to appointments. Phone calls were also returned quickly. • Rocky personally took the time to explain the options, costs and the insurance process. • They went through the roofing process and told us exactly what to expect. • Rocky came out several times to bring samples, discuss the difference between tile and metal roofs. He genuinely wanted us to be happy with our decisions. • Delivery of the tiles was flawless. The crew place them on the roof with a lift the Friday prior to the project starting on Monday. • The Rox Roofing crew was on time each day and it was evident every employee knew what their part of the job was. They worked well together and with great efficiency. • Rocky was meticulous with cleanliness and ensuring our property was protected and respected. He personally walked the property each day to ensure everything was going smoothly and in place. • He also met with us after the project was done to complete a final walk through and tweaked a few things that he wanted to perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend Rox Roofing and give them an A+ on service, quality and communication.
Jan 4, 2026Admittedly, I don’t typically leave reviews, but I often use reviews when making large financial decisions. I know…. I’m trying to be better about leaving reviews. I think it’s safe to say that none of us look forward to having to replace/repair a roof. Yet, it’s one of the most important components of our homes. In July 2025, the west side of San Antonio had a destructive hailstorm. Based on the strength of the storm, I knew there was going to be damage to the roof. It sounded like baseballs hitting the house. While the storm was occurring (roughly 7pm) I pulled out my phone and dialed Rox Roofing because they did some work for me several years back at a different home. It was 7pm so I wasn’t expecting to hear from them until the following business day. Nope… 5 minutes later I was speaking with someone from Rox. Seriously, they called me well after business hours. I explained what was going on and they asked me if I had an active leak. I let them know that I was unaware of any leaks yet but wanted someone braver than me to climb onto my 2-story home. They said no problem; I will have a guy at your house by 9am the following day. If there is a leak we will put a temporary cover over it until it can be fixed. As promised, my doorbell rang at 8:45am. Not bad, impressive even… They took some pictures and showed me significant damage and suggested I contact my homeowner’s insurance to file a claim. The fact is… many of my neighbors also did the same. Some even had a new roof being put on the following week. My insurance company a big brand company (I will not name them to protect the guilty), sent someone out a few weeks later, just a few days shy of a month. When I asked why it would take so long I was told “because we are busy”. That sure didn’t feel “like a great neighbor” response. Anyway, the following day, I received a call from the person handling my claim from my insurance company. He stated that I had little damage, not enough to even file a claim due to the deductible. I asked them to send me their report so that I could compare it to the report I received from my roofer. A few weeks later after calling several times, I finally received the insurance company report. Sure, enough they showed only a few areas being affected. The problem with the report was it omitted several areas of the roof, so I contacted my insurance company again and requested a second review be carried out. As expected, he upped the damage by $1,000.00. After speaking with Rocky at Rox he asked if I wanted to push a little more, so I said yes. He offered a Public Adjuster that he had worked with in the past. Now enter PALCO, the public adjuster. They scheduled a person to come to my house and document what they found, independent of Rox and my insurance company. They took pictures and sent a report to me that again showed significant hail damage. I mean all the ventilation pipes looked like someone used them for target practice. Shingles missing, hail dents in the shingles, siding, screens etc.… In the end, the insurance company was forced to pay, but only because of Rox. The day of the installation the Rox team showed up and removed my roof by 11am and had the new one on by dinner. The site manager came the following day to do an inspection of my roof. He went over everything with me, no pressures, no problems… Call Rox if you want a solid roof and a solid team working on your behalf. Anytime anyone asks me who I used or would recommend, I hand them a business card for Rox. They’re my “go-to” roof team moving forward.
Jan 28, 2026This was the first time I’ve dealt with a roof repair. I didn’t know where to start! Rox Roofing made the process so easy. They took care of everything with my insurance company! Rey and Jesus were both great at communicating and answering any questions I had! They kept me informed from beginning to end and always sent pictures of the progress. Before, during and after. I highly Rox Roofing!
Feb 4, 2026Rox roofing did an outstanding job on our repair and I would highly recommend them - we had a leak due to some spotty work from a past contractor so this repair involved siting, flashing, and shingles. Rey and Jesus did a great job at every step and were the perfect mix of friendly and professional - they gave us a breakdown of the cause of the leak along with a detailed explanation of the repair process and what they did to extend the life of our roof. This included detailed before and after pictures. Lastly, they worked with us on the price which was deeply appreciated. We would definitely work again with them in the future.
