What customers noticed.
We used this roofing company after the May 2025 hailstorm. The initial contact came from a door-to-door visit (despite our no soliciting sign, which already left a negative first impression). After struggling to get other roofing companies to respond, I eventually moved forward with a quote. They provided a clear estimate and had strong online reviews. The roof replacement itself went fine overall, and the final roof appears to be in good condition. That said, there were ongoing frustrations with communication and follow-through. After the initial installation, there was debris and nails left in the yard, and some damage to landscaping. A large shingle was left dangling off the roof and took multiple follow-ups and delays to resolve. More recently, we contacted them again because a project to remove our patio cover required fixing and replacing some of the shingles. The process was inconsistent from the start - instead of an on-site visit, we were asked to send photos, then received a fairly vague quote. On the day the work was scheduled, the project manager showed up but couldn’t reach the roofing crew and didn’t know where they were, which was concerning. There also seemed to be miscommunication between their crew and our patio contractors regarding work around the chimney, with their team stating certain items were not their responsibility. Ultimately, a gap was left near the chimney area, and it took several weeks of back-and-forth in which it was never acknowledged to be an issue at all. Initially, I was told the issue was only cosmetic, and then was told it would require a full replacement, but after getting a second opinion, it was clear it was a small area that could be sealed. That second contractor also informed us of a small hole nearby where water could potentially enter. After I escalated the issue, the owner came out personally and resolved it, which I appreciated. He was professional and helpful in person. However, overall this experience significantly reduced my confidence in whether what we received was true quality. In the end, the roof is functional and the owner did make things right when escalated, but the overall experience left us feeling like communication, coordination, and attention to detail could be improved.
May 25, 2026Quality Exteriors(QE) did a very good job from initial inspection, insurance adjuster inspection, tear-off to installation. The shingle chosen and supplied was of very good quality and even earned a discount on homeowners insurance. The entire process went very smooth, with a little confusion on verbiage between insurance company and QE, but Liv was great at going the extra mile and explaining things. I also have to mention that State Farm was very good and fare to work with through this process.
Feb 25, 2026Absolutely love Quality Exteriors! From beginning to end, they have been wonderful. I got several quotes for gutters and some were extremely outrageous. Joshua was phenomenal and was very friendly and personalble. Their installers were very respectful and understanding when we had to let our dogs out while they were working. Highly recommend!
Jul 14, 2026Josh and his team from Quality really went above and beyond for me. In addition to getting my roof in great shape, they also inspected a few other areas within the attic that needed some work. He recommended some other local businesses that could help and even bought some materials he didn’t have to. I am really appreciative of their diligence in solving issues. Highly recommend!
